A review from Holland

I just got this email from a fellow in Holland.  Made me laugh, thought I'd post it.  I've been saying "this research isn't for everyone, but for those who need to hear it will find it. For the rest, "these are not the droids you're looking for."  But for those who are interested in tales from the spirit world - here's what this fellow had to say:

Let me first tell you that never in my life I have written to an author I didn’t know personally to tell him how much I enjoyed his book.  So, sending you a message via Facebook was not my style. Still, I wrote it, actually not expecting a reply at all. It was just meant as a thumps up from the other side of the world J

Anyway, now we got in touch, I have to tell you ‘reading Flipside’ has been a very intense experience for me. It hit me like a hammer. (ok, a good hammer :). For sure, to me it’s the most important book I’ve read in a long time. Even more so than the 3 books of Michael Newton, which I also read. Actually his work and ‘Flipside’ complement each other perfectly. Yours is more personal though, more emotional and less constricted by the idea that you have to follow the (scientific) ‘rulebook’.

What ‘Flipside’ and Michael Newton’s books have in common for me, is that they feel (by lack of a better word) so TRUE. It’s all quite unbelievable and mind-boggling ofcourse, but to me it really feels like: this is IT! This is how a lot of stuff and loose ends and intuitions I’ve always had suddenly make sense.

What I really like about ‘Flipside’ is your tone of voice and style of writing. Really rock ‘n roll, loose and funny, relaxed and without any unnecessary hocus pocus. Even though I also enjoyed Newton’s books a lot, and I was amazed by their content, his view of the afterlife and its inhabitants sometimes feels a bit stiff and scholarly. ‘Flipside’ is more fun, and therefore more realistic – or at least it is to me.

Thanks!  I had many fun days in Holland, I hope I get to spend some more there.  It's the only government I'm aware of that is using past life regression with violent criminals - once they're able to examine some of the reason's why they chose this life, or see that they've had experiences with other people before, it changes them forever.  Worth examining!  FROM AUG. 27TH, 2012

Dutch prisons use psychics to help prisoners contact the dead

Dutch prisons are using psychics to give jailed criminals guidance by putting them in touch with their dead relatives.

Paul van Bree, a self-styled "paragnost" or clairvoyant, has been hired by the Dutch prison service to teach prisoners how to "love themselves".
"I tell them that dead relatives are doing well and that they love them. That brings them peace. Big strong men burst into tears," he said.
Mr van Bree, who also publishes annual predictions of the future, claims to be from a long line of clairvoyants, including his mother and grandmother.
The Dutch paranormal, who describes himself as the "happy Buddha" told De Tijd magazine that he is not the only psychic healer employed by the Dutch justice ministry.
He has claimed that by talking to both the prisoner and the prisoner's dead parents he can discover key psychological insights to help the prison authorities rehabilitate criminals.
"With my antennae I sometimes reveal more than a psychologist or a prison welfare officer," he said. "My work can be compared to mental health care in widest sense of the words."
A spokesman for the Dutch justice ministry said: "This is not something which fits in our treatment field."
In 2007, 42,500 Dutch people signed up to state funded spiritually-based "personal development programmes".
