With Julian and George "Beyond Belief"
Pal Julian Lennon was in town for the release of his latest CD. It was also an opportunity to give him a copy of "Flipside" which he appreciated. He's truly a warm hearted individual and his photography and music are both haunting and melodic. Check him out at JulianLennon.com
The one and only George Noory invited me to be on his talk show in Denver - it appears here: . It's was a fun and lively hour that seemed to slip by. Audience members had really unusual and spot on questions - so interested that I asked afterward if the producers had given them advance ideas... they had not.
One woman came up to me weeping after the show, and she said "I began to cry from the moment you began to speak and so did the woman next to me." I'm not sure if that's the desired effect when giving a talk, but I held her hand and said "It's not about what I'm saying, it's about the research. And if the research has some resonance for you, then it's worth examining."
I encouraged her to read all of Michael Newton's books (beginning with "Journey of Souls") for a more in depth examination of the life between lives.
I'm continuing to gather stories, and announced on the show that the new book is going to be called "Flipside: the Veil is Thinning"

Every now and then one reads a book that has one pondering the subject matterweeks even months later. This was such a book for me. Richard does a skillful job weaving the physical world in which we live with the other dimensions of consciousness. He does so not as a lecturer, scientist, or distant 3rd person but as a storyteller using facts, and in some cases film. He draws on findings of Drs. Brian Weiss and Michael Newton as well as several other noted pioneers in the field. This is also a love story. After reading this work, you may feel the bonds that we all share as we choose to enter into this world. This is especially true if you have suffered a traumatic loss of a loved one. This is a must read if you are a believer of reincarnation or are even curious or open minded about the subject.

This book has changed my views and truly rocked my world, for the better.For years, I have gotten various pieces and parts of information on our purpose here and how it all works. Flipside brought it all together for me in one big "aha" moment. The concepts of LBL and past life regression and the documentation of various sessions and hypnotherapists were amazing and intriguing. I loved the balance of real world experiences outside of hypnotherapy combined with sessions and quotes from experts. In the beginning of the book, Richard Martini indicates this is not a definititive work summarizing all of the research around LBLs, but rather a journey based on one man's quest to find answers. I thoroughly enjoyed following that quest and learned so much along the way!

I know that you've come to this material, to this research for a variety of reasons...
Sometimes its from the pain of losing a loved one.
Sometimes its from experiencing unexplainable events in your life.
Sometimes its from fear of the unknown - and trying to find out what is known.
I am not a scientist. I am not a philosopher. I am not a new age guru. I'm a film guy.
But I am a curious fellow. And for that reason, I began making a documentary about the topic, and once I was in over my head....
I couldn't stop.
After filming hours of between life sessions - sometimes six hours at a time - I realized I either had to edit this footage into a miniseries...
Or publish a book.
Publishers laughed.
Literally. "very funny, but we aren't publishing memoirs at this time."
Memoir? I'm talking to people who show evidence that there's life after death. A memoir?
Oh, ok. So I cut out half the chapters, and just focused on the transcripts of the book and how I came to them. And in between my musing about what the heck that all might mean.
I'm glad it's helping folks. I take no credit whatsoever for reporting what I'm hearing from people under deep hypnosis about the Afterlife. I take credit for noting that it didn't matter who was under hypnosis - THEY WERE ALL SAYING THE SAME THINGS ABOUT THE AFTERLIFE.
No matter who the therapist was.
That was worth writing about.
So thank you from the bottom of my heart - but more importantly, thank those folks who let me report on their very personal, very profound journeys into the afterlife.
Now where's the Prosecco?
