Public talk at Alexandria II books in Pasadena

Gave a talk about the book with Dr. Ken Stoller, who spoke about the book his son wrote "My Life After Life" as well as the free book that Ken was offering on how to cure depression holistically.  He spoke eloquently of his grief after his son's passing, and how he realized that naturally occurring oxytocin could be an avenue out of depression.  Beginning with experimenting on himself, Ken has written a short but masterful book on the topic - you can find it for free here:

Spoke about the research behind "Flipside" and my journey to it.  I get revved up when speaking about the topic, and realize you could wind me up and I'd speak until the lights in the building went out.  There was a crowd of about 20 folks on hand, at the wonderful bookstore Alexandria II. I'm only sorry I forgot to bring a stack of books as they sold out early, and I was reduced to handing out a book card and encouraging them to find the book here at

Got a wonderful email from Michael Newton who finally got a chance to view the documentary film with his wife Peggy.  It was really gratifying to hear that he likes the film - my impression of Dr. Newton is that he plays his cards fairly close to the chest, and since he'd been involved with a number of documentary projects in the past, he was surprised one of them actually came to fruition.  But he liked it a lot, and encouraged me to keep up the work, as well as suggesting a few subjects for the next film in the series.  Is there a series?  Well, I continue to film past life and life between life sessions - and the results continue to be the same.

It's hard to account for the feeling involved - I'm a filmmaker after all, I'm turning a camera on and hoping for the best.  And I happen to have it turned on with a fantastic Michael Newton trained therapist these days, Scott de Tamble ( - who never ceases to amaze me.  I've seen a lot of great musicians in my life, and I've seen a number of virtuosos - and Scott reminds me of those folks.  Someone who just really has an instinct for what he's doing, and how to get the best out of people.

He's teased me about my ability to sit there and be patient, listening to a client during their 4 or 5 hour session.  But it never ceases to amaze me - I feel like I'm literally sitting in on history.  Part of it is personal history - a person remembers intimate details from this life, answers questions like "and what was it like in the womb?" (instead of answering "how could I possibly know?" they always have an answer.)  And watching as people begin to remember a past life that has some significance on this life - whether in Arizona in the 1800's, whether on a ship in the Caribbean attacked by pirates, or with a South American native who is living off the land and feeding his family - everyone remembers some aspects of that lifetime, and see them as clear as I can see them lying on his couch, telling the story.

And then, we travel into the life between lives - another dramatic moment when they describe meeting their immortal teacher, their spirit guide - and the lessons that they learn in that realm.  All I can say is that I've "taken the red pill" so to speak - which I'm just now realizing I incorrectly stated in the introduction to the book.  Oh well, I've got to make some corrections to it anyways, might as well be a big error!!!  I must have been thinking blue viagra pill instead of red enlightenment pill.  Either way, I gotta fix that.
